Entertainment at the Shining STAR Event

The Adoption STAR Shining STAR Event is two weeks from today on Wednesday, November 2, at Shea’s Performing Arts Center. The event will go from 5:30 pm-8:30 pm. Shining STAR raises money to help Adoption STAR place children with special needs with loving forever families.
We’re proud to announce today that Maryalice Demler, from WGRZ, Channel 2 News, will be hosting the event. According to Demler’s bio, she has been with WGRZ since 1993
Local band, The Time Pirates, will be providing the musical entertainment throughout the evening. According to their website, The Time Pirates formed in 1986 and play mostly classic rock music. You can listen to their songs at their website, as well as watch a video of their performance below.
If you would like to RSVP for Shining STAR please send a check for $35 per-person made out to “Adoption STAR” with “Shining STAR” on the Memo line to the Adoption STAR office at 47 Plaza Dr., Williamsville NY, 14221. If you are unable to attend but would still like to donate to this great cause, you can send a check made out to “Adoption STAR” with “Shining STAR” on the Memo line to the same address.
