CONGRATULATIONS Mark, Janet and big brother Justin! Welcome home Owen!

We chose adoption after many unsuccessful attempts carrying another child. Our first pregnancy was truly a miracle. We are excited to add another baby to our family, this time through the miracle of adoption.

We truly love to be parents. Our son, Justin, has brought so much joy into our lives. We are so excited to give him the opportunity to be a big brother. We are very involved in parenting. Janet has chosen to be a stay at home mom and plans to stay home with our new baby. Mark has enjoyed being involved with Justin’s Cub Scout pack and even coached his little league soccer team.

Spending time with family is very important to us. We are very grateful to have grandparents, cousins, aunts and uncles anxiously awaiting our new addition. We are very close to our families and see them often for family outings, birthdays and holiday gatherings.

We have been married for over 12 years. We have a strong marriage based on love, trust, and respect.

Janet received a degree in Business Management and worked as an Accounting Manager until she left that position to begin her most important position yet, as a stay at home mom.

Mark received his degree in Hotel Resort Management. He now works for a prominent hotel chain. His position allows for us to stay in fabulous hotels when we travel.

We live in a newly built home on five acres in the community Janet was raised in. She has known many of our neighbors for over 30 years. We built our home with plans to expand our family and hold large family gatherings. We enjoy entertaining at our home. We have large gatherings for Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Easter as well as lots of summer picnics in our large back yard where the kids enjoy playing on our play set and running around playing tag or soccer.

We have many typical family traditions including coloring Easter eggs, carving pumpkins, Thanksgiving Feasts, and Christmas celebrations. One of our favorite traditions is Birthday Week. The birthday person gets to choose their favorite meals and special favors as well as receiving a gift every day of the week.

We have a great group of friends. Some friendships date back to our High School years. They are very supportive of our plans to adopt and have even played a role in our decision. We have friends that have formed their families through adoption and they have been very supportive throughout the process.

Janet was raised Catholic and we have decided to raise our children as catholics. We are more about Christian values than any particular denomination and believe in teaching these values to our children.
