Alecia is an Expectant Parent Social Worker with Adoption STAR. Alecia attended the State University of New York at Buffalo where she received her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and then her Master’s degree in Social Work. Prior to joining Adoption STAR she worked at the Homeless Alliance of Western New York and Parkside Community Association. She has conducted multiple group presentations and has provided information, education, and support to individual clients and community professionals.
She works primarily with expectant parents of Adoption STAR providing them counseling, referrals and support throughout their pregnancies. She is always available to support her clients!
Additionally, Alecia works to assist with providing pregnancy options counseling information including adoption education and information to the community-at-large. Alecia facilitates small and large group presentations for those interested in learning more about how they can support the pregnant woman.
Alecia lives in North Tonawanda with her husband, two cats, and one dog. She enjoys spending time with family and friends and playing roller derby.
