Christine Miller, MA
A-OK Adoption Supervisor & Family Advocate
Christine is the Adoption Supervisor & Family Advocate in Adoption STAR’s A-OK Program. Christine earned her master’s degree in Psychology from Medaille College and her undergraduate degree in Biology with a minor in Psychology from Buffalo State College. Christine entered into the foster care and adoption field after graduating college. The decision to enter the foster care and adoption field was an easy one for Christine, as both her parents and grandparents were foster care providers for many years.
Christine has held various roles in the foster care field but most of her efforts have been focused on special needs adoption, primarily finding homes for children with emotional and behavioral challenges. Christine is excited to not only help older children that have been waiting in the foster care system find their “happily ever after”, but to also help a family grow through adoption.
Outside of work, Christine enjoys spending time with her husband and two daughters, cooking, and completing home renovation projects.
