This new training, which will be offered in all 2021 ANCHOR classes, provides participants with information on the support and care of LGBTQ+ youth as these youth are disproportionately represented in the child welfare system and often face discrimination and mistreatment in out-of-home care. This training includes information on terminology and several tips and best practices for supporting and serving LGBTQ+ youth.
