Every year, the day before Mother’s Day is Birth Mother’s Day. It is nationally recognized but rarely will you find anyone celebrating it. This is why Adoption STAR hosts an Annual Birth Mother’s Day Celebration, where we celebrate Birth Mother’s Day with those women who made the brave decision to make an adoption plan for their child. This event is specifically for birth mothers who have made adoption plans, as an opportunity to support one another by listening or sharing the experiences, emotions, challenges, and triumphs of their adoption journeys.
