Please write (1000 words or less) describing your biggest personal challenge, your efforts to overcome this challenge, the reasons why you have been successful, and your plans for the future, and how adoption has played a role in all of this.

Please upload two letters of reference. At least one letter must be furnished by a faculty member at your high school, such as, a teacher, coach, or guidance counselor. The other letter can be from another high school faculty member or an adult mentor, advisor, clergy, etc. who is aware of your challenges and your accomplishments. Letters of recommendation should not come from family members. The reference should include a description of your success as a high school student, the obstacles you have overcome to achieve that success, and the extent to which your high school performance has improved.
