Tabitha provides home study and post placement services for Adoption STAR in the New York City area. Tabitha is a Licensed Mental health and substance abuse counselor with over many years of experience in behavioral Health services. Tabitha’s primary focus of work is with at risk populations dealing with addiction and trauma among children, adults, and families impacted by mental health. Tabitha has worked in various settings and roles both clinically and administratively.

In her personal life, she was a foster parent for several years therefore she not only has the professional experience, but personal as well. She understands the challenges families face when dealing with finding homes for children, reunifying children with their biological families, and the adoption process.

Outside of work, Tabitha enjoys spending time with her family. She is a food enthusiast, traveling/exploring new places, and hiking.
