Adoption STAR’s upcoming celebration marks 15 years of creating “forever families” through adoption. Please help us make the event a success!
Adoption STAR turns 15 years old in 2015, and we’re celebrating this important milestone with “15 and Fabulous: 15 Years of Touching Lives,” a red carpet event. Electronic “Save the Date” reminders have gone out to many clients, colleagues, and friends of Adoption STAR already, but just in case you didn’t get the information, please plan on spending the evening of Saturday, May 16th with us at the Buffalo Marriott Niagara (1340 Millersport Highway, Williamsville, NY 14221).
The event is approximately three months away, and Adoption STAR Development Associate Kristin Ackerman, Co-Chairs and proud adoptive parents Gregory and Robyn Altman, and a committee that was developed to plan and coordinate the event has been working diligently for months to ensure a successful, fun, and memorable event.
Invitations for the event will be coming in the weeks ahead (so be on the lookout for those). Your attendance at the event would be welcome (and appreciated), over the course of Adoption STAR’s 15 years, we’ve placed over 750 children with their “forever families,” which is an amazing number of lives to touch; we hope attendance at the event will reflect just how much our organization has meant to many, many families near and far.
Beyond attending the event, there are some other important ways you can honor and support Adoption STAR as we celebrate our 15th birthday. Please note the following:
Corporate Sponsorship – Whether you work for (or perhaps even own) a small or large business or organization, we’re currently soliciting corporate sponsorship for our “15 and Fabulous” event. There are four different levels of corporate sponsorship, and all of them include an advertisement in the event’s ad book, tickets to the event, and an engraved message that gets placed on the Adoption STAR Family Tree.

Tribute Ads – Please consider purchasing a $25.00 tribute ad that will be placed in the event ad book. The ad can be in honor of, in celebration of, or in memory of someone or something. Ad Book Ads – For businesses that want to place an ad in our ad book, there are six different sized ad options at varying price points, making an ad in our 15 and Fabulous ad book feasible for any advertising budget.
