Buffalo’s Rich Products receives accolades from the Dave Thomas Foundation for having generous adoption benefits for employees that choose to adopt.
During the course of National Adoption Month, we’ve featured a couple of blogs and Facebook posts related to adoption-friendly employers and how to talk to your employer about establishing adoption-friendly policies and benefits.
Earlier this week, Adoption STAR International Adoption Coordinator Meg Montgomery e-mailed staff the following link to an article recently published in Buffalo Business First: “Rich Products is named one of the best employers for adoptive parents.”
Meg (and many of the other folks here at Adoption STAR) were pleased to see that Rich Products was (as it says in the article), “named to the 100 Best Adoption-Friendly Workplaces list, sponsored by the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption. The Buffalo manufacturer, a $3.3 billion global food company with operations in six continents, was ranked 5th in the manufacturing sector for its employee adoption benefits among companies nationwide. It is the only company in Western New York to make the list.”
