Celebrity Cabbage Patch Kids Raise Money for Adoption

According to an article by Market Watch, “Children’s Action Network” has teamed up with US toy company, JAKKS Pacific Inc. to create Cabbage Patch dolls of several celebrities, that will be auctioned off on Ebay to raise funds and awareness for adoption during National Adoption Month.

The five celebrities taking part are actresses Katherine Heigl, Kristen Chenoweth, Raven Symone, “The Today Show’s” Al Roker, and singer Steven Tyler.

The auction will take place through November 17.

According to the article, the Children’s Action Network “uses the power of the entertainment community to increase awareness about children’s issues and to make them a top priority in everyday life.”
