Have you heard of Crowdfunding? Forbes defines it as: “the practice of funding a project or venture by raising many small amounts of money from a large number of people, typically via the Internet.” This collective effort of individuals who network and pool their money has become quite popular. In a recent Huffington Post article about crowdfunding, they focus on adoption and how such funds have benefited those seeking to adopt.
In addition to the sites listed within the article, one Western New York organization, Parenthood for Me works to provide grants to those seeking to adopt as well as another group known as Help Us Adopt.
