This month’s upcoming Spring It On campaign is a great opportunity to help fund the important work of Adoption STAR.
Adoption STAR turns 16 years old this year, and in that time we’ve placed over 800 children with their “forever families.” The work involved in making these placements has taken an incredible amount of time, energy, and effort on the part of many, many different people. The work involved with these placements has touched thousands of lives in profoundly deep ways. The work involved in these placements is so poignant for the staff at Adoption STAR…and it’s work we feel privileged and honored to be doing.
We consistently hear from many adoptive parents, birth parents, and adoptees that we’ve worked with over the years, and while each “adoption story” is unique and special in its own right, we do hear a repeated theme from these folks: The words “thank you” seem like a wholly inadequate way of expressing just how much the agency has meant to them (and continues to mean to them).
With that in mind, we’re asking YOU to show your support and gratitude for Adoption STAR by making a financial contribution to the Spring It On campaign. As participants in this 24-hour day of giving, Adoption STAR has been challenged to raise as much money as possible in 24 hours. Spring It On will take place from 8:00am Thursday, March 24, 2016 until 8:00am Friday, March 25, 2016.
