The official unveiling of the Adoption STAR Family Tree happened at our Open House on 3/13/13. Michele Fried had the honor of pulling back the red curtain so attendees could see the tree in all of its glory. Development Associate Kristin Ackerman presented Michele with a leaf that was purchased by Adoption STAR staff. The leaf reads, “In honor of Michele Fried, our guiding star.” Michele and one of the children in attendance at the Open House worked together to affix the leaf to the tree, which brought smiles and great applause from everyone watching on. A big THANK YOU to everyone that has contributed to the tree to date.
