Adoption STAR holds many classes, workshops and orientation sessions during National Adoption Month (November) and one of our most well-attended events is always our annual Hair and Skin Care class in Buffalo.
This popular class will assist and educate you in the special hair and skin care necessary for Black and Bi-racial children. The hair and skin care workshop is for families who have adopted trans-racially or who are considering doing so, and is facilitated by hair and skin care professionals. The class is open to both clients and non-clients, and there is no fee.
The class takes place on Thursday, November 15, from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm at the Unitarian Universalist Church of Williamsville (6320 Main St. Williamsville, NY) To RSVP, please email the agency at [email protected] or call (716)639-3900. Children are welcome at the class as there will be hands-on demonstrations, and products will be available.
