This class is facilitated by adoptive parents ~ a financial advisor, accountant, and an estate planning attorney. They will introduce why you need a will and how to draft and update your will, they will update you on estate planning changes, nominating a guardian, applying for the adoption tax credit, and overall financial planning for your family’s future.

Meet Amy Jo Lauber
Amy Jo Lauber is a Buffalo native and Buffalo State College alum.
She started her career in financial services in 1993 as an account executive for Erie County’s Deferred Compensation Plan with The Copeland Companies.
She worked as a wealth management consultant for HSBC Bank, and as director of financial planning for Harold C. Brown & Co., LLC.
Amy Jo earned her CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER TM designation in 2000 and started her own practice – Lauber Financial Planning – in 2010.
Amy Jo specializes in comprehensive, holistic financial planning on a fee-only basis. She maintains a blog, “LIFE: Live Inspired, Financially Empowered” and published her first book in May 2012 Living Inspired and Financially Empowered: Aligning Our Spiritual and Material Lives.
Meet Mark A. Tronconi, CPA, MBA
Mark A. Tronconi, CPA, MBA, is a Tax Partner with Tronconi Segarra & Associates LLP.He has significant experience in individual taxation, trust taxation, subchapter S corporations, and estate and financial planning.
Of particular interest to Mark relating to estate and financial planning is the area of adoption, as he and his wife have two adopted sons. Mark has given seminars and written articles that have been published in the local media targeted to attorneys and prospective adoptive parents about the financial considerations of adoption and how to navigate through the personal income tax ramifications.
