Recall on CareBear Pacifiers

The US Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) has recently issued a recall on CareBear Pacifiers by IDM Group because they present a “choking hazard.”

According to a CPSC press release this was a voluntary recall, and customers should “stop using recalled products immediately unless otherwise instructed.”

The pacifier’s in question, according to the press release, have a CareBear figure on the clip attachment with a “TCFC” copyright mark.

The press release went on to say that the pacifer’s “nipples can separate from the base, posing a choking hazard to young children.”
