The Child Welfare Information Gateway has a long-standing history of developing exceptional educational materials on all things adoption, including a booklet entitled, “Are You Pregnant and Thinking About Adoption?” The Child Welfare Information Gateway is a service of the Children’s Bureau, Administration for Children and Families, U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
Published in February of 2014, this 10 page document is available to order or download free of charge and, as the Child Welfare Information Gateway says, “Provides information about placing a baby for adoption, presents questions to consider, and points to resources that may help you in exploring your options. Others who are affected by adoption decisions, such as expectant fathers and other relatives, also may find this factsheet useful for answering their questions.”
