LGBT families and allies are encouraged to attend this FREE show.
The Pride Center of Western New York and Adoption STAR are proud to have worked together this year to offer several opportunities for LGBT families (and allies) to come together for some theatrical fun!
For the third time in 2015, The Wondermakers will be presenting folk tales from around the world – casting children and parents from the audience to help act out and tell the stories. Participants gain an interactive experience that teaches about self-actualization while entertaining.
As per their website (www.wondermakers.net), “The Wondermakers, now in their 25th season, have given over 3,000 performances throughout New York, Florida and Ohio. All Wondermakers performers are professional actors with a commitment to theatre, improvisation and education. The programs are based on folktales from many world cultures and tie in closely with State Standards for the Arts, Language Arts, and Social Studies as well as Character Education.”
